Hi! I'm an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside. Previously, I was a post-doc at Northwestern University working with Dan Mroczek and Eileen Graham. I obtained my PhD in Social–Personality Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, under the guidance of Serena Chen and Oliver John.
I study how people interact with the social structures they inhabit. More specifically, I study the psychology behind how societies answer two fundamental questions: 1.) Who gets resources? 2.) Who is part of "us"? In both of these lines of research, I maintain a strong practice in helping to improve the conceptualization and measurement of relevant psychological constructs.
You can learn more about my work under the Research tab.
I am admitting students for Fall 2025.
